Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed concerning the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety more info of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support place created for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to allow the servicing of all sassa buyers and raise use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
